Calculate the qualifying turnover attached to a free-spin reward, free chip or deposit bonus. Enter the wagering base stated in the coupon, its multiplier and the contribution rate for the game you intend to use. The result separates the full requirement from any remaining qualifying turnover.
This is a fixed-base calculation, not a prediction of your gambling results. It does not recommend a stake or suggest that a bonus can be completed profitably. Read Free Spins Wagering Explained if you need help identifying the figures.
Bonus wagering calculator
Use one currency throughout. The examples use dollars; the calculation does not convert currencies.
Results are rounded to two decimal places for display. The casino may use different rounding rules. No information is sent by this calculator.
Choose the right wagering base
The most important input is the balance named in the terms. A multiplier alone cannot tell you the requirement. Entering a deposit when the rule applies only to bonus credit, or entering the original credit when it applies to winnings, can produce the wrong result even when the arithmetic is correct.
Free-spin winnings
If the condition applies to winnings from promotional rounds, enter the credited winnings. A reward of 100 spins does not mean a $100 wagering base.
Free chip or bonus credit
If the condition applies to the original promotional credit, enter that amount. A $20 chip with a rule on the chip amount uses a $20 base.
Deposit plus bonus
Add the qualifying deposit and bonus only when the rule explicitly uses both. A $20 deposit and $20 match make a $40 base in that case.
For a package containing a match and spins, the components may have separate conditions. Calculate them separately if the terms assign different bases or multipliers. Do not assume one rule covers the whole package. The Bonus Guides hub connects the explanations for each reward format.
Enter progress in the same units
The completed field takes qualifying turnover already credited to this requirement. If you staked $100 on a game with 20% contribution, that adds $20 of qualifying turnover, not $100. The casino’s progress display is usually the clearest starting point, provided you know which bonus it refers to.
The calculator subtracts completed qualifying turnover from the full requirement and stops at zero. Progress above the requirement cannot create negative remaining wagering or additional cash.
Worked wagering examples
$20 chip at 30×
$20 × 30 = $600 of qualifying turnover. With 100% contribution and no progress yet, the remaining eligible stakes are $600.
$6 spin winnings at 40×
$6 × 40 = $240. If $60 has already counted, $180 of qualifying turnover remains. At 100% contribution, that means $180 in eligible stakes.
$40 base at 30×, 50% contribution
$40 × 30 = $1,200. After $200 of qualifying progress, $1,000 remains. At 50% contribution, the remaining eligible stakes total $2,000.
These are arithmetic examples rather than terms for a listed casino offer. Reusing money returned by winning bets can contribute to repeated stakes, but outcomes can also exhaust a balance before the target is reached. Required stakes do not equal a required deposit or a guaranteed loss.
The formulas used
Total qualifying turnover = wagering base × multiplier
Remaining qualifying turnover = maximum of (total − completed), or zero
Remaining eligible stakes = remaining qualifying turnover ÷ (contribution ÷ 100)
If contribution is zero and wagering remains, stakes on that game do not reduce the requirement. The tool reports this rather than dividing by zero. If nothing remains, it reports zero remaining stakes.
Why game contribution changes the result
A contribution rate adjusts how much of each eligible stake counts. At 100%, $10 staked adds $10 of qualifying turnover. At 50%, it adds $5. At 10%, it adds $1. A game with zero contribution makes no progress towards the requirement.
Do not assume every slot contributes fully or that all table games share a rate. Promotions can exclude particular games, impose different rates or restrict which balance may be used. Check the exact coupon rather than applying a general casino rule to every bonus.
Switching between games
The calculator assumes one contribution rate for the remaining wagering. If you change games, update the completed qualifying turnover and enter the new game’s rate. For example, $100 staked at 100% and $100 at 20% contribute $120 combined. That $120 is the progress figure, not the $200 total staked.
If the operator changes the base after a balance transfer or applies another nonstandard calculation, use its stated method. This tool does not model a changing base, bonus balance order or separate cash and promotional wallets.
Check the conditions beyond the calculation
- Maximum bet: exceeding the permitted stake may breach a coupon even if that stake appears to count.
- Expiry: identify when wagering must be completed and whether the deadline starts on activation, crediting or another event.
- Cashout and conversion: a cap or conversion rule may limit what becomes withdrawable after wagering.
- Eligibility: country, account, household and previous claims can affect whether the promotion is available.
- Withdrawal and cancellation: check what happens to the bonus and related winnings if you withdraw early or cancel.
- Verification: reaching a turnover target does not remove identity or payment checks.
A no-wagering offer can still have conditions even though its playthrough multiplier is zero. A no-deposit offer describes the qualifying payment requirement, not whether wagering applies.

Wagering calculator FAQs
How do I calculate a wagering requirement?
Multiply the balance named in the offer terms by its wagering multiplier. A $20 bonus subject to 30× wagering requires $600 of qualifying turnover.
Do I enter the number of free spins?
No. If wagering applies to spin winnings, enter the winnings credited from those rounds. The spin count is not a dollar balance.
What does deposit plus bonus mean?
It means both amounts form the wagering base. A $20 deposit plus a $20 bonus gives a $40 base; at 30× the requirement is $1,200.
What is game contribution?
It is the share of a stake that counts towards wagering. At 50% contribution, a $10 eligible stake adds $5 of qualifying turnover.
What should I enter as completed turnover?
Enter qualifying turnover already recorded towards this requirement, after contribution has been applied. Do not enter your current balance or all historical stakes.
Does the result show how much I will lose?
No. Turnover is betting volume. The calculator does not predict wins, losses, a final balance or the chance of completing a bonus.
Can I calculate a no-wagering offer?
Yes. A multiplier of zero produces zero wagering turnover. Other offer conditions can still apply.
Why does the casino show a different result?
Check the stated base, contribution, progress, excluded games and rounding rules. Some promotions have changing requirements that this fixed-base calculator does not model.
Does reaching the total guarantee a withdrawal?
No. Eligibility, maximum bets, expiry, conversion, cashout limits and verification remain separate conditions.
Can I combine different game contribution rates?
This calculator uses one rate for the remaining wagering. For mixed games, calculate each qualifying stake using its own contribution rate or use the progress recorded by the casino.
